Reina Madre fills a critical market gap between the high-end private clinics for the top 10% of the population and the public options that are often lacking specialized neonatal care by providing quality, affordable prenatal care, delivery by a skilled birth attendant, and postnatal maternal and newborn support. Reina Madre also provides family planning and women’s health screening services. The loan provided in partnership with Global Partnerships has supported Reina Madre to create two prenatal care clinics in Mexico City.
