Friendship Bridge is a nonprofit microfinance institution dedicated to improving the lives of impoverished women through the provision of loans, education, women’s rights and health. In 2015, in partnership with Wuqu’ Kawoq (Maya Health Alliance), Friendship Bridge initiated its Salud para la Vida program – providing health services via mobile clinics and health education to clients. Grant funding has been used to start up and expand the health program to additional branches.
